Golf

Sub-tropical weather allows our 18-hole golf course to be open for member play year-round. Multiple tees create a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all levels. A Leon Howard and Dave Bennett design, it first opened for play in 1968.

The course measures 6541 yards from the championship tees with a 71.6 rating and 128 slope. Fairways are common Bermuda and the greens are Champion Bermuda that is similar in appearance and performance to bentgrass.

Each year Harlingen Country Club looks forward to hosting the South Texas Junior Golf Classic featuring top junior players from throughout Texas. We are also home of the Life Begins at Forty tournament, a match play event for players from around the country.
